Regina obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design from San Diego State University (SDSU) in 1977. Shortly thereafter, the student became the teacher, and Regina taught interior design at her alma mater SDSU and The Design Institute.

In 1982, she established Alpha Design Group with her husband, Al Isenberg. A member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) since 1980, and certified in the state of California, Regina has won several national and local design awards and her work has been featured in numerous national and local publications.
